My Christmas cards are all sent, so now I'm focusing on making Christmas thank you notes!
I made this card for the second Flourishes December Release Week noontime challenge: the Perfect Pear Challenge, a which is a color challenge to use light green, deep rose, and cream.
I used Stampin' Up's Certainly Celery and Rose Red cardstocks and inks, along with a bit of cream-colored cardstock for my label.
I scored a grid on some white cardstock and filled each grid square with a stamped ornament from Flourishes' All That Glitters set. The sentiment comes from Flourishes' Tag Lines set.
Making a grid like this is one of my favorite techniques for using smaller stamp images. Quick and easy, but lots to look at!
Thanks for stopping by!
Emily

Very pretty, the grid design gives it that extra special touch!

WOW! I just love this, Em! Your ornaments and placement of the sentiment is PERFECT! :)
How smart to score the sections! I never thought about doing that but it would be helpful to get everything lined up. Great card, Emily!
gorgeous grid card. lovely colors too.
It's like Christmas tic-tac-toe! Very pretty, having those Flourishes ornaments all lined up this way.
And good for you, getting all these thank you's done. I am going to have to rely on non-Christmas, already-made-from-last-year thank you's!
Look at you all organized and already making thank you cards! So much to do this week! EEEEKKK!!!
Love your card and the embossed squares. Beautiful job! You are sooo talented :)
I'm loving your grid card, Emily. It showcases those ornaments in such a special way. Super for thank you's for after Christmas.
Love the scored lines, what a great idea.
Oooooh, pretty! I love the colours, and that image is lovely. I actually have a couple of orders that people want to pick up on Christmas Eve, imagine...and I had kind of thought I was done with Christmas cards. Yoiks! At least it's not just me who's thinking last minute :)
Oh my gosh this is just adorable. I love the layout and ornaments. So cute.
