DeNami Inspired By

Today kicks off a new feature over on the DeNami Design blog. It's called "Inspired By" and the goal is to highlight the work of our wonderful DeNami customers! Each month we will feature one talented customer's work, and then honor that wonderful artist with a host of DeNami DT projects inspired by it! This month we were inspired by Stacy:

Isn't that a beautiful creation? You can read all about it right here on Stacy's blog.

I was completely intrigued by her use of a z-fold for card. I had to go and Google it right away! And this what I came up with:

As you can see, not only was I inspired by her card fold, I was also inspired by her color scheme. That lavender and celery combo is SO pretty!

Here are the products that I used from the DeNami Design store:

I really love how this card turned out. The z-fold is so cool! It looks awesome standing up for display--but boy, was it hard to photograph so you could really see what it's like! Here's another view of it completely flat so it's just like it would look sliding out of the envelope:

And here's an "aerial" view so you can see its z-shaped fold:

The blank celery panel inside would be perfect for a hand-written note or a stamped sentiment!

Be sure to head over to the DeNami Design blog today to see how the rest of the team was inspired by Stacy's awesome card!

Thanks so much for visiting today. May your day be filled with bliss!

Such a great colour combo and love how you stamped the flowers in the embossed diamonds. Darling card.

One of the reasons I avoided the z-fold this time around is because it is so hard to photograph. Your photos turned out great and this card is so beautiful! The embossing is perfect and the stamping is flawless. The summer flower is just perfect for this card!

I see why Stacy's card was selected as inspiration; it's gorgeous! I especially enjoyed reading about *her* inspiration: the pansies (love pansies) her mom used to decorate her birthday cakes. Replicating that wonderful memory on a card: so very heart-warming! Emily, your card is so very stunning; a delightful take on Stacy's infused with your style and flair! From the colours, to the images, to the gate-fold opening: absolutely day-brightening and smile-making. I think some DeNami products *need* to come to live at my house! Have a fabulous day; as fabulous as you've made mine!

Oh Emily, your card is so sweet! I love the embossing with the little lavender dots for the background and the alternating corner design. It really shows off your pretty flower medallion.
Great inspiration. Thanks for sharing! :)

Oh, I bet that was tricky to get a good picture of! I think you managed it though - this is fabulous, love the funky fold!
