The Craft's Meow October Release Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, friends, and welcome to The Craft's Meow October New Release Blog Hop!!

I've been honored to have the opportunity to guest design this month along with the fabulously talented TCM design team. These ladies rock! After previewing the new release Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, we've finally come to the release day for all six brand-new TCM stamp sets:

Christmas Angel
Hearth and Home
Winter Fibi & Lilly
Christmas Cheer
Holiday Foundations
O Christmas Tree -- free gift with a $50 purchase

Be sure to check out images of the full sets over on the TCM blog today!

OK, let's get down to business. If you are hopping along, you should have arrived here from the blog of Jennifer Cuthbertson. (If not, you can start the blog hop from the beginning over on the TCM blog.) And if you get lost along the way, the TCM blog has the complete blog hop listing.

Want to win all 6 new sets from TCM? To be eligible, you will need to visit and comment on each blog on the hop. The deadline to comment is 9:00pm PDT, Saturday, October 27, 2012. One lucky commenter will be chosen at random to win the entire October release!!

Now, here's my card for today's blog hop. I used images and a sentiment from the new stamp set, Christmas Cheer.

The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye. Of course, I just had to add lots of stitching, and it was so fun to top my trees with little star-shaped rhinestones. The blue patterned paper I used for the middle panel has a subtle snowflake pattern, so I decided to play that up with tiny rhinestone centers on a smattering of flakes.

Thanks so much for dropping by today. And a HUGE THANK YOU to Lisa Hjulberg for the chance to be this month's guest designer for The Craft's Meow. I've had a blast!!!

Now, leave a comment before you go for a chance at that fantastic prize, and then head off to the blog of Jessica Fick next. :D

Have fun!
Emily

This is so sweet. I've noticed that this style tree is very popular this year and I can't wait to get my hands on one and try my idea. Your card is just superb.

Ca-yoot dotted trees! Bet this was one of your faves to work with. I like the stripey paper to go along with it. It reminds me of gum wrappers from a gum I chewed when I was a kid. Do you think I can remember the name of it though? Nah!
