We had a relaxing weekend, catching a movie (Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief) on demand last night with the kids. It was fun and action-packed! DH, DD, and DS all worked on their pinewood derby cars this weekend, and I had some time to play with paper both yesterday and today!! Yay! It felt so good to just create again, unpressured. Here is a CAS card I came up with today.
I combined several challenges in the making of this card:
- Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge: #34
- Limelight Papercrafts Sketch 64: Ribbon
- The Daily Dare's Twelve Days of Christmas Challenges: Day 1 (DD12DAYS01) K.I.S.S. = "Keep It Simple, Santa" to create Christmas card using a recycled item (a sheer ribbon I saved from the wrappings of a Christmas present from a neighbor), one simple image (the Celebrate the Season snowflake), and a non-traditional Christmas color (navy blue).
- The Daily Dare's Twelve Days of Christmas Challenges: Day 11 (DD12DAYS11) to use snowflakes
