Dear Friend

Thank goodness the current Tuesday Trigger (Beads & Baubles) over at Moxie Fab World is a two-week challenge this time around! I fell in love with the Trigger photo as soon as I saw it, but it's been a struggle finding time to play along. Finally, with the deadline fast approaching, find the time I did!
Here's the inspiration photo that I fell in love with. Isn't it dreamy and romantic?
I was definitely inspired by the colors in this photo, but also the bead shapes. I stamped four different images from the Stampin' Up! set Circle Circus in metallic gold ink, and I really love how they turned out. I need to remember to pull out this stamp set more often! My card measures 4" x 7", so there's plenty of room inside for a nice long note to a dear friend.

Making this card truly made me happy. I had such a good time putting this together!! If only I could find some more time, I'd love to make a bunch more!!

Thanks so much for checking out what's making me happy today!
Emily

What a great sized card! And your circles do look like a bracelet running down the card!

Your card is so pretty! I love how your stitched all the pretty little baubles together like the bracelet chain. Wouldn't it be fun to wear something like it? Totally impractical but sooo pretty!
Hope you are having a great weekend! :)

This is so cool! It's very much like the inspiration photo, Emily. Even the stitching, which resembles the chain links. Well done!

I love your card, and this Trigger too - I had so many ideas & ended up just making one card as well. Good thing we can hang onto the pics for inspiration anyhow :)
I love the subtlety of using the metallic ink- it gives just enough shimmer without overpowering the motifs. Awesome :)
