Last week, I got out my Halloween hand towels to use in the kitchen and was struck by how well this one
would translate into a scene for a card. So I was inspired to make an owl card for Halloween!! I also incorporated these challenges:
- Waltzingmouse Sketch: Challenge #17
- Crafty Creations Challenge: Owls
- Flourishes Timeless Tuesday: Challenge 86, to create a project with a fall/harvest theme using green, brown, orange/russet, and cream
- 4 Crafty Chicks: Crazy Egg Challenge, to use a bird of some kind
- Speedy the Cat's Friends: Challenge 23, Buttons and Bows
Card Recipe:
Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers: Owl Be Here (owl), Broom Rides (sentiment), Tweet Blessings (branch)
Paper: SU pumpkin pie CS, SU kiwi kiss CS, The Paper Company cream CS
Ink: Palette burnt umber, Palette haystack, Marvy LePlume II brown marker
Accessories: SU 1.75" circle punch, scoring tool and paper cutter, scissors, sponge, dimensionals, button from my stash, brown burplap string, Bow-Easy
Techniques: scoring, sponging

You are so busy! And what a great job of interpreting your dish towel. Don't you just *love* how inspiration is truly all around us? I get jazzed up when a clothing or bedding catalog comes in the mail; I see so much inspiration there that there are not enough hours to create all that I want to!
