Jack-O-Lantern Patch

Hearty Tuesday Greetings to you all!! I have a card that I'd like to share. I'm having fun getting in the mood for fall and Halloween!

A couple of weeks ago a friend asked me to help her shorten some curtains, and I was glad to help. She thanked me with a gift card to Target, so I treated my self to a 2-pack of EK Success mini punches: jack-o-lantern and scary cat. I thought they would be super fun for Halloween projects! When I saw this sketch for the Get Sketchy #57 challenge, I knew exactly what I would do!

This card was also inspired by these challenges:
And finally, this card is for a silly "unofficial" challenge. I'm in a group of fabulous Splitcoast Stampers called the Punchkateerz. We keep in touch through a chat thread over on SCS and post our creations with a "secret" keyword so we can all keep tabs on what everybody is creating and support one another with comments. Anyway, we recently noticed that we had surpassed 1000 posts in our Punchkateerz gallery and are celebrating with "kind of" a challenge: to create something using, at the very least, card stock and at least one punch. Not terribly challenging, right? But something that we could ALL easily attain!! So, this is my "entry"--a card using only card stock (no DP) and lots of punches. Oh, and a little stamping! :) It was fun to make, and it will be fun to see what my fellow Punchkateerz have to say.

Oh, want to know what's making me happy today? Burning my Yankee Candle Home Sweet Home candle!! It smells SO good and spicy (kind of clove scented)--perfect for being inside on the now-cool fall days. It's time to nest again!

OK, that's it for today. Thanks for dropping by!!

I know what you mean about those candles, just told my DH a few days ago it is just about time to light the candles. Hmmmmmmm Nothing like it in the Fall.

This is so adorable, Emily!! Love the white pumpkin. We were looking at some yesterday and my son is so ready to get one. We tried to grow our own pumpkin patch this year but the bunnies ate everything!
