I reached for my DeNami stamps for this one: Small Jack O'Lantern (I masked out his sweet face for this Thanksgiving card--such an easy way to stretch your stamps!) and the "thinking of you" sentiment from the Thoughtful Greetings Petit Four stamp set. I love this little stamp set--such a great and useful collection of petite sentiments. One of my favorites! I had fun watercolor painting that little pumpkin. I stamped it in Vintage Sepia Versafine ink on watercolor paper and then heat embossed it with DeNami clear embossing powder.
I'm playing along with a few challenges with this card:
- CASology: Orange
- A Blog Named Hero: Punched/diecut elements (I think I have 5 on this CAS card!)
- Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Thinking of You/Sympathy
Of course, if you already have some DeNami stamps, then you should also try the DeNami Design challenge hosted on the DeNami Design blog. This month's challenge is also a sketch and requires at least one DeNami stamp. The pay-off for winning on this challenge? How about a $20 shopping spree in the DeNami Design online store?
And what if you are more of an instant-gratification kinda craftista? Then DeNami has got you covered! This month DeNami has a great online store sale. Check this out!!
I did some stocking up at the DeNami store myself over the weekend and will share some photos of the new haul when my eagerly anticipated package arrives!!!
OK, friends, stay safe, warm, and dry wherever you are. And thanks so much for dropping by!

I love your Thanksgiving card Emily. Such rich colours and what a great shape to the base card. Did you stitch the circle element on or use a stamp for the stitching ?

I heart this card, Emily! You are such a pro at sewing on your cards- I wish you could give me lessons. :) I just love how you mask off the face for this pumpkin- it truly makes it a versatile stamp!
I'll be plugging this card on the DeNami FB page later today- it's just too sweet not to share! :)
Emily your patterned paper and the so sweet focal image is so cherry. Thank you so much for joining us again this week at CASology!
Just beautiful...that patterned paper is so pretty and looks so nice with that sweet pumpkin in the middle.
This is gorgeous! LOVE how you've highlighted that pumkin stamp... very creative use of a smaller image, and making it fill the card! :) Thank you for playng along in our "Thinking of You/Sympathy" challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp challenge blog! xx
I love your sweet pumpkin surrounded by the beautiful patterned paper ~ a beautiful card!
Love the pumpkin inside of all of that pretty pretty patterned paper and circles.
This is an absolutely adorabe Thanksgiving card! Love the single rounded corner and the circle piece of floral DP is such a nice touch!!! Thanks for joining us at CASology! :)
This is fabulous! Love that pumpkin and the paper you used behind it and the stitching is the perfect finishing touch! Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!
I really like this sketch, and the way you did it up. The orange floral paper has such a pop, but doesn't detract at all from the pumpkin: it enhances it.
