Season's Greetings

Just a quick post today to play along with the Flourishes Name Game Challenge. I think I mentioned earlier in the week that my mojo has gone missing. No status change. This card had many, many iterations before some of the elements finally gelled. Mojo, come home! You make things sooooooooo much easier. My struggles have colored my feelings about this card, but I think it finally turned out OK.
Anyway, the challenge is to use your monogram as the inspiration for your creation. My initials are EJK, so this creation incorporates:

E = embossing
J = jewels
K = kraft

I used elements from four different Flourishes sets: Country Charm Labels, Country Charm Borders, Warm Winter Wishes, and Paperwhites (sentiment).

Thanks for dropping by!
Emily

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Flourishes: Country Charm Labels, Country Charm Borders, Warm Winter Wishes, and Paperwhites (sentiment)
Paper: white CS, kraft CS, red CS, BasicGrey patterned paper
Ink: Versafine satin red, metallic silver ink, ColorBox white pigment ink
Accessories: SU ornament punch, silver EP, heat tool, hemp twine, sewing machine, foam tape, rhinestones
Techniques: machine stitching, embossing

Love that ornament punch and can't wait to start using it (have to get over my leaf fetish first LOL!). Nice touch with the white sponging around the edges and lovely sentiment panel.

Inquiring minds (or nosy Parkers, whatever!) want to know what the "J" stands for! That's a really neat idea for a challenge - I bet the entries are fun with all the possibilities.
Once again you chose a colour for embossing that I wouldn't have thought of. The silver looks awesome with kraft! I still want your mojo to come home, so that it's fun for you again, but I wish I made things like this when *my* mojo was on vacation.

Hi Emily! Mojo is definitely back!! YAY!! Love this card! And it's such a fun challenge. The ornaments look gorgeous, and I love the border & tag label.
You know, I do struggle with Webster's Pages papers too. They are too pretty to be covered up. I tend to just go simple when using it ;)
Have a great day!

I think it's a beautiful card Emily and appears your mojo is back where it belongs. I really like that ornament punch - I may have to go shopping for one (oh no!)

Well, I don't know about mojo being missing on this card, Em. It looks lovely! I like the placement of your elements, and that ledger paper in the background.

If said mojo is still not found in another day or two, I think you and I might have to board a plane to find ours together! LOL

Love ornaments. If your mojo is missing, I guess you just don't need it because your card is fab.
Have a great weekend.
