I hate to admit how much I struggled with this one! I'm afraid it shows. And do you know how hard it is to photograph sparkle, shimmer, and bling? But I sure had fun adding it!! :) The dotty border around my sentiment frame was made with a glue pen and then heat embossed with copper embossing powder along with the sentiment.
I'm playing in these challenges:
- Flourishes Release Week Heavy Metal Challenge: to use a little metal on your card
- Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge #139: to make a Christmas card that either features an ornament, or create an ornament
- Ribbon Carousel Challenge #24: sparkle and bling
Thanks so much for dropping by today for a little slice of bliss with me. If you'd like to try your hand at this week's Stampin' B's Challenge, post your project on your blog or SCS gallery, and link it up to the Inlinkz tool on the Stampin' B's blog. We'd love to see what you create!! :)
See you soon!
Emily

I think it looks great! Love the attention to detail...the embossing, the edge punching...:)
Love all the sparkle and embossing Emily, really pretty color of powder. And love those pine branches! Never knew you could use EP with a glue pen! How cool, thanks for the tidbit!!!

I know you're not happy with it, but I like it! Especially the combination of colours - I never would have pictured copper being so striking with the blue. Awesome choice! And I like the bling mixed into the border too.
This is cute, Emily!! Love the cute bird and ornaments!
beautiful card... the embossing is just perfect!
I love your pretty card. The embossing looks so sparkly and I like how it looks like it's tucked in between the branches. I have ornaments for my tree like this little bird. I can't wait to decorate the tree now!
Thanks for sharing! :)
I think it turned out beautifully. I agree about photographing bling. I usually lay it down or tilt it up a little in my hand and photograph with the other. Seems to work for me. :)
Thanks for playing at FTTC.
What a really pretty card.
Fabulous project!!! It's a beautiful card and I love the baker's twine!
I love how you embossed those ornaments! That is one of my fave Flourishes sets (All That Glitters). I've never inked up my bird, but seeing what you've done with it here reminds me what I can do with this little guy!
Gorgeous!! Thanks for joining us at the Ribbon Carousel Challenge.
