O Christmas Tree!

Just a quick post--I'm playing along with another Flourishes Release Week challenge. Today's is the "Show Me" Challenge, to create a project using one of the techniques from the Flourishes Tutorial Library. I was inspired by this fantastic tutorial on paper piecing by Iwona Palmountain and used this fun technique to paper piece the tree skirt, ornaments, and sentiment label on this card:
The tree image, ornaments, and sentiment come from Flourishes' now-retired O Christmas Tree set. The pretty label is from Country Charm Labels. The patterned papers I used on today's card are digital papers from Echo Park Paper Co.'s Dots & Stripes Metropolitan hybrid paper pack.

I loved decorating this little tree. It kinda reminds me of the Charlie Brown tree! All it needed was a little love. :)

Thanks for checking out my little slice of bliss today!
Emily

Your Charlie Brown tree looks much loved with all that paper piecing! Very cute! And again with those beautiful labels! I checked on them myself, and they are out of stock! Will keep checking, as I love them!

Yes, I was thinking 'Charlie Brown' too! Hee hee. It sure is a cute little tree, and it is wearing the most festive polka dotted skirt. ;)

*love*! And it's totally a Charlie Brown tree. We try to make ours look like that every year (and cheap artificial trees do that look very well! lol)
I like the polka-dot ornaments, and the stitching is lovely. Yay for mojo returning???
