Still having fun? I'm glad you're still bearing with me, because now it's time for another party game!! Let's meet today's blog candy prize:
How to play? You gals are positively slaying me with your wit at working that magical word into your comments for Monday's blog candy!!! So, let's see how you do with this one: Just leave me a comment on this post using the word "SLICE"(as in my little SLICE of bliss!!) in some way, and you'll be entered in a random drawing for that sweet kitty Cuttlebug die. Only comments containing "slice" will be considered for the drawing. So if you want to leave me a comment today but aren't interested in the blog candy, whatever you do--don't include the word "slice!"
Here are the easy rules:
- Only one comment per person.
- No need to be or become a follower (but if you aren't already and would like to be, I won't stop you!!!)
- Just make sure I can contact you after the drawing if you are a winner. (If you have a blog and your email contact info is included there, we're cool! But if not, be sure to include an email address--using {dot} and {at} is fine--just in case.)
Thanks for continuing my Blogoversary party this week! Check back on Friday, July 8, for another Blogoversary party installment with another party game prize!
Thanks for checking out my little slice of bliss for today,
Emily
* A few months ago I was commenting on someone's blog where word verification was enabled. The random "word" that I had to type was "MATHYPI." As someone with a degree in math, I found this extremely funny and was soon rolling on the floor laughing!! I made note of it and have been on a mission ever since to use this "word" as often as possible as a step toward general acceptance. I mean, really: what better word could be used to describe a math lover, especially a girlie one or one who's a real cutie pie or sweetie pie?? And now you know the rest of the story. :)

I already have the die so no s**** for me! But I will join you on your "mathypi" crusade!!! As another math major who spent a large s**** of her life as an actuary - I think it is absolutely perfect!!! I was also giddy over reading your statistics! I guess even though my little s**** of the world includes kids and cards, I still have some math geek in me!
I already have that die so I won't use the s word. My Mom told me not to say the s word too! :) I love your card though! :)
Great card, Emily! All those fancy papers make it look like a Vera Bradley bag!
(and if you thought I was going to say s___, no dice!
The only things that hate cats more than Addie are mice!)
Love your slice of summer card! The chairs are too cute!

Emily, wonderful card & I love your sense of humor!! Mathypi - too funny; now I will be keeping my eye out for a catchy word verification "word". Happy Blogoversary to you in your little slice of bliss :)
Hi Emily! I'm one of your 22 e-mail subscribers (I haven't yet figured out how to be a follower, LOL!) and I certainly enjoy your posts! I love how you give us a slice (glimpse) of your life. That was pretty lame, I know, but it was the only way I could slice it!!!
Cute card Emily! Love the beach chair images and pretty patterned paper!
Love the card, white on kraft is always great and it makes those colorful background pieces even more vibrant. Can't decide if I would use a cat die, as I'm not a cat person, but then someone I know will probably need one, maybe a kitty will slice their toe and need a get well card?
Oh, the pressure's on...boy, am I ever hoping Friday's word is "little." I can do little!
Your card is gorgeous - something about adirondack chairs just screams summer to me. Love those super-shiny brads, too. My thought process: sitting in chairs with lemonade, lemon wedge on the edge of the glass, those yummy colours: citrus slice candies. The ones with the 'peel'? I used to love those. Hah! I did it after all. Maybe I should have waited until I finished my first cup of coffee & it would have been easier :)
Hey Emily this is a super cute card. I love how you slice and dice your paper to make this layout. The colored brads are the neatest thing since sliced bread. Anyway you slice it-this is a great card. You know I had to join in the fun but don't send me the die-I have it...lol
Bear Hugs,
Carol
Emily, I love those adirondack chairs and cool card. Looks as if you took a slice right out of a summer scene to make this card.
Crisp, clean and cute. Great use of the papers.
Anyway you slice it, that card is so summery! ;) Love the adirondack chairs in a row, and the colors of your DP, Miss Mathypi.
Love your card! Those chairs are awesome! I don't have this die set so here goes ... Looking forward to watching my son take the SLICE of wedding cake and feeding it to his wife! ;D
fab CAS creation...love the colors
love the colors and that great cas design!

Not a cat fan but love your celebration of your blogaversary. Congrats and Happy Blogging!
No matter how you slice it, this kitty and mouse are adorable!! Right up my daughter's alley :) Thanks for the chance to win. Now you have me curious to see what my stats are LOL!
Emily, I love how you featured four different papers. All that kraft is delicious and the white chairs look fabulous!
