I wanted to share a card that I had an awful lot of fun making today. This was for today's sketch challenge, SC296, on Splitcoast.
What a fun layout! That bushel of autumn leaves was colored using the Gamsol Magic technique, with colored pencils blended with odorless mineral spirits and a paper blending stump. It's been a while since I've been able to color this way, and I really enjoyed myself. This is another sneak peek of the soon-to-be-released Mark's Finest Papers set, Autumn Fun.My Bushel of Autumn Fun card is also for these challenges:
- Tuesday Throwdown #15, Ribbon With a Twist, to use ribbon in a creative way--not your normal way of tying a knot or laying it flat. I gave my ribbon a twist, all right, and ended up with a cool spiral effect.
- Critter Sketch Challenge #29, Think Fall.
- Papertake Weekly Challenge, Just the One. I chose just one (curled) ribbon.
- Paper Players Challenge #13, Anything Goes.
