Pilgrim Chicks

Well, Winter Storm Athena didn't thrash us or anything here in New England, but she did give us our first snow of the season! Not a lot, but this morning it covered the grass, leaves, and sidewalks--although it's sure to melt by lunchtime.

I'm still working on mailable Thanksgiving cards for my far-flung family and friends. Here is today's card.

These adorable pilgrim chicks are from Stampendous, and the sentiment is from DeNami. I did some watermark stamping in the background using a stamp from the Stampendous Summer Leaves set. The Stampendous November Challenge is to use any of the Stampendous Essentials products in your project. I flocked the pilgrim chicks using Stampendous Fun Flock.

I'm also playing along in these challenges:
Don't forget that today is the last day to enter my Bazzill Paper GIVEAWAY. Check out this post for details! You can enter up until 11:59 EST tonight. :D

Thanks for dropping by today!

What some adorable flocked chicks. Your stitching really set them off, too. Wonderful Thanksgiving card, Emily.

Glad your snow wasn't too bad. You'll probably get plenty of the white stuff later.

Eek :) I love your take on the sketch! And the fuzzy pilgrim chicks? Too cute, Emily! I do love me some flocking, you know :)
We got our first snow too - well, we had flurries, anyhow - and also our first freezing rain. Ick. At least it's back up above zero so it melted!

I totally ADORE your fuzzy little turkey chickies, Emily! Little do they know! No, I can't do it - let's call them chickie chickies instead. That's better! Now I'm off to have some chicken salad. No, no, I can't do it ...
