DeNami Valentine Blog Hop

Welcome to the DeNami Design Valentine Blog Hop!

Hopefully, you've arrived here by way of Dana Seymour's blog, Kismet, Art, and Life. If so, you are on the right track! If not, you'll want to head over to the DeNami blog to start the blog hop at the beginning. (And remember, if you get lost along the way, you can always head over to the DeNami blog to get pointed in the right direction.)

This month's blog hop is all about, you guessed it, Valentine projects!! Hop along for some great inspiration and comment along the way for a chance at some free DeNami products! Here are the details:

When: The blog hop starts on January 8 at 6 AM, PST. However, you have until January 9, 2012, 11:59 pm PST, to leave comments on all the blogs (to be eligible for a prize).

Why: To be inspired by Valentine creations featuring DeNami Design stamps and also the chance to win mini shopping sprees on the DeNami Design website!

Prizes: DeNami is giving away THREE $20 gift certificates to their website: one gift certificate to a random blog hop participant (DT members not eligible) and TWO gift certificates to TWO people who comment along the hop!
How fun is that?

OK, enough chit-chat--on to my Valentine project. How about a yummy heart cookie?

Cut-out sugar cookies are a huge favorite in my house. Frosting and decorations make them even more desirable! So when I saw this Large Sugar Heart stamp in the DeNami store, I just knew it had to come live at my house :). I had the best time paper piecing the frosting and coloring the good-enough to eat decorations with colored pencils and a white gel pen. The DeNami sentiment is the whimsical Happy Valentine's Day stamp.

The patterned paper is from a My Mind's Eye paper pad that I got for Christmas: Lost & Found. I think it's perfect for Valentine projects! A little machine stitching and some Blossom baker's twine (thanks, Emily!) finished off this card nicely.

You can find these items from my card in the DeNami store: Chocolate Brown cardstock, Petal Pink cardstock, and Vintage Sepia Versafine Ink.

Did you know that all DeNami Valentine stamps are on sale right now? It's true! Here's the scoop:
You're welcome ;).

OK, I think I've held you hostage long enough! Before you hop off to your next stop on the blog hop, be sure to leave a comment here for a chance at some free DeNami products. Then head on over to visit the fabulous Karen Larkin at her My Life blog for another inspiring Valentine project!

Thanks for stopping by today for a little slice of bliss!
Emily

PS I'm entering this in Ribbon Carousel Challenge #34 (Anything Goes), and the Simon Says Stamp "New Something" challenge (my "new" is using something new: that fabulous new patterned paper from My Mind's Eye!).
