Chrysanthemums

This card has been in the works for more days now than I care to admit. I've had an aimless kind of weekend, and finally pushed myself to finish it--just to have it done.

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Flourishes: A Year in Flowers Calendar Set (#3), Tag Lines
Cardstock: kraft CS, watercolor paper, Stella & Rose Gertie papers from MME,
DP from Indian Summer Stack by DCWV
Ink: Versafine vintage sepia, Ranger tea dye distress ink
Accessories: sponge, MS modern garland PATP set, watercolor brush, inks for watercolor painting, foam tape, sewing machine, sheer ribbon, spiral clip
Techniques: watercolor painting, machine stitching, masking, ink distressing

  4. Great card and worth sitting down to finish it! I have cards like that, too, but usually I just end up abandoning them to the "someday" drawer and then they get thrown out 3 months later. So huzzah to you for getting it done!

  11. That sounds familiar - sometimes you just have to finish it so your creative brain can move on!
    Love the spiral clip (I've got to dig those out!) and the awesome colours of the chrysanthemums.
